I don’t even know. Probably eating crayons in pre-school. My earliest memories are from around pre-school time I think. It takes a while to remember from that far back though… wow. One of my earliest memories is sitting on the steps outside my blue pre-school waiting with a teacher for one of my parents to come pick me up. The teacher and I waited for about an hour or so after the end of school that day for someone to finally come get me ! Poor little me.

Even people who never play the lottery probably dream once in a while of winning it and imagine what their lives might be like. If I were to ever win a huge jackpot, I would do the obvious things of course, such as buy my mum the house of her dreams (reasonable though, as I wouldn’t want to ever waste money), make sure my family is taken care of. Then with any left over money, I would work to make this world a better place for elephants. The elephant has always been my favorite wild animal, and they truly suffer like no other. It’s so incredibly heartbreaking to see what happens to these magnificent creatures. Not only are they poached for their ivory, at an alarmingly high rate, but baby elephants are also snatched away from their parents and sold illegally to be raised for tourism and circuses. It’s estimated for all the baby elephants that are snatched away from their families, only 1 out of 3 survive the incredibly brutal treatment they suffer. And in order to be taken away from their families, their parents are often killed right before them, so these poor baby elephants are also suffering through the trauma of seeing their parents killed. Animals do suffer from traumatic experiences. It truly breaks my heart to see these magnificent creatures suffer so much. I wish God would bless me with a huge amount of money so that I could do something to help these animals. I hope I can use my law degree pro bono to make a difference. I refuse to die without having done something that makes the lives of elephants at least a little bit better and more hopeful. Please boycott circuses !

My advice to future law students: I don’t think being on a journal is worth it. Especially if you’re on a journal like mine, which seems to have an inferiority complex since it’s not the Law Review of our law school. Seems like the journal overcompensates and makes people miserable. I wish I were on the slacker journal of my law school. Because at the end of the day, I don’t believe it makes a difference which journal you’re on, if you’re on one at all that is. Do employers really care that much? GPA is probably much more important. And being on a journal isn’t going to make up for a poor GPA anyway. So screw journals. Just too much extra work, and you’ll be absolutely miserable doing cite checks. Not worth the headache if you ask me. Just stick to getting good grades.
